Hi, I'm a bit afraid of going into something like respiratory depression from medication. I was wondering if the medication that my physician put me on is harmful daily.

I take: 1.5 mg Xanax daily (4 hours between each dose of .5mg)
1mg of Clonazepam at sleep

By the way: I have very crippling Panic disorder, I get panic attacks daily.

Please help ease my mind.

Doesnt sound like too much to me, especially if it is legitimately prescribed to you by your doctor. If you are worried about it, why didn't you ask your doctor ? 1.5mg xanax per day isn't a huge dose, and 1mg clonazepam is not a huge dose either . If you are worried about it, contact your doctor . The xanax will keep the panic and anxiety at bay, and the clonazepam will help you relax and sleep at night. I wouldnt worry about it, unless you have some other health issue that could be a problem. Like I said, if you are still worried, your doctor is who you should be talking to about this .

You will be just fine taking those low dosages, especially when they are properly spread out. You don't have to worry about dying or anything, but at first, you may feel a little "fuzzy" to say the least.

With crippling panic and anxiety issues, you will most likely feel like a million bucks once the benzos start to work. Of course you shouldn't drive or anything like that, and you may or may not experience some "blacking out", memory loss is totally normal with benzodiazepines though, so you shouldn't let that bother you either.

It's basically impossible to OD on benzos without combining them with another downer, you should be fine.
