Opioids Help with these oxycodone withdrawls I've gone cold turkeyfrom 180 mg a day

Why does it seem like every thread ,and even the ones I have posted, turn into a suboxone debate? There isnt really anything to debate about. Do some research and either take it or don't. But if you have went 3.5 days IMO you obviously have strong will power and determenation, I would take as little RX as possible. Or none. Good luck.

this is very true. there is nthing wrong with someone reccomending suboxone to help with withdrawal symptoms. allthough, if a person has allready gone through most of the withdrawal, i dont see much benefit in starting a suboxone regimen. allthough, it is possible to take only tiny amounts of suboxone once or twice, without prolonging the withdrawals. those small doses could possibly just make the last of his withdrawals much easier to deal with. as long as he doesnt take any more of it.

^ yeah IF they take tiny amount like u said

but lets be realistic, whos gonna do that?

its better to go without suboxone than with it...fact

withdrawals shmithdrawals....what would we do without suboxone or methadone? go thru the fucking price of being an addict

I'm still playing to look into it I went 4 days and ended up FINDING sum. It was like candy and your first piece of ass, I need simthin to hold me down , if I was a bum, or weak with no job staying at home I'd probably be off em, or a bum on Bluelight..............

Finding what? Suboxone? I hope not OC again. Really, you will feel just as bad (if not worse) once you get off the suboxone. When I kicked OC I felt depressed, anxious, sick, unmotivated, and all that shit for WEEKS afterwards. It may not help to read that, but it does get better all the time. One day you'll wake up and even though you might have cravings, you'll start to appreciate the joy found in many parts of life that needs no drugs. Warm (jacuzzi) baths and reading books helped me a lot, as well as Scrubs, psytrance, and being around people. Focus on the hobbies that you have that make you happy, then "prescribe" them to yourself as an antidepressant. It might sound weird or gay or something, but I LOVE Scrubs. Whenever I'm depressed, I just pop em in the DVD player and I start giggling. Find something that you can do that with...like a TV show or game or movie that you can watch over and over that is uplifting. Then abuse the hell out of it. Also, removing yourself from wherever you did drugs (moving somewhere else is ideal but not always possible) helps IMMENSELY. If you can't move, just go somewhere you haven't been before as much as possible. I hope you can kick this shit for good. It is ENTIRELY possible and you will thank yourself later. I did.

its true, if we didnt have bupe or done, wed just have to pay the price pf being an addict....

That whole thing is weird to me. I get how it helps people live normal lives (and get rid of many other destructive behaviors associated with opiate use), but you're still a slave to it in the same way you were a slave to the opiate. Psychologically, you're still in dependence mode, which seems like it would make it easy to go back to the straight opiates down the road. Not to mention, the sooner you break the Bupe dependence, the sooner you can start repairing the neural pathways that you've destroyed through the years of dependence. But hey, I get it. It's not just hard to get off of opiates, it's REALLY FUCKING HARD. Seems impossible when you're in the thick of it. Sucks to have your own brain working against itself.
