Opioids Help with my doctor appointment please

Hi, I have degenerative disc disease between my L5 and S1. A grade three spondy, and facet arthritis in my back. I have been seeing my doc for 2 months getting percoce 5. Which dont cut it. I am experiencing sciatica. Shooting pains down to my toes. My disc has dissintegrated to about 40 percent. Is there any way to tell in an mri if i actually have sciatica? i want to get bumped up from percs. my doc is cool. And pretty good on scripts. Should i say maybe they wear off fast in hopes of getting put on time released oxy? Any input on my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help
 
Just be honest with your doctor. We cant tell you what to say to get the medications you want. If you're not happy with their diagnosis, then find another doctor.

Whether people are asking out of legitimate need or trying to score, we don't allow these threads here.

All we can say is what foul play said... Be honest. Advocate for yourself and be assertive. If you aren't getting adequate help, find a new doctor.
