Help With Fentanyl

Hey, now despite quite a bit of research both on this board and elsewhere, I've decided to ask for help due to the serious potency of this drug. I am looking for answers more specific to my situation, so I can eliminate the potential dangers from estimation. I have acquired some fentanyl 100mcg/h 72 hour patches containing a total of 10mg. They are the duragesic brand, and also happen to be expired.

Now, to put my current opiate tolerance in perspective, tonight starting at 8pm I dosed 140mg of oxycodone intranasally with my last line at 130am; I am still quite stoned now at 330am.

I am wanting to use this drug in the safest possible manner, and have no problems trying methods other than the transdermal route of administration should they happen to be easier, safer, or more effective with regards to my situation.

So, where should I start?

I would start by cutting the patch into smaller strips, and administering it by putting the piece inside your cheek, and chewing on it. Buccal administration will be quicker and a little more easy to titrate your dose, as opposed to slapping it on your skin.
 
How much of the patch do you think I should start with? How long should I keep it in? Do I need to tear off the adhesive cover? Also, any idea as to how long the patch will last putting it in my cheek, like how long untill all the fentanyl will be out? I know I have a lot of questions, but I want to be as cautious as possible. Thanks
 
One thing with old patches... They seem to only last me 2 days. Instead of the whole 3. In the spirit of harm reduction I'd tell you to say fuck it.

Best time to use fent is when you're dopesick. Maybe keep it around for a rainy day.

With your tolerance you can wear it and/or cut it into small pieces to put in your cheek one at a time. When you feel it take it out..

Thanks for the replies, so you think with my tolerance I'd be alright taking lets say an eighth or sixteenth of the patch in my mouth, until i start to feel it? I'm just wondering the quantity i should start with to be safe. I've heard so much about the dangers of this drug, that I want to ensure I'm safe doing it.
