Stimulants Help with extended release dexedrine!?

Recently about 20 10mg dexedrine sapansules Extended release came into my possesion (the caps with the little beads inside). i was wondering if anyone could give me a fairly easy way to bypass the extended release on them, also what would be a nice dose for a first time user?
 
There's dexedrine with the adderall type XR? I did not know that...

Well I just put all the adderall beads in a crisp bill(pinching one side down, putting them in the crease and holding fingers on the 3 non-closed sides of the small mound inside) and either roll a coin over them for a while or put a credit card over them and smash that down a bit. Then I take that POWDER(no chunks or anything left), and dump in under my tongue where I let it rest a little(it seems to go away fast), and actually get a rush!
Am I talking jibberish? You have to put them in something completely enclosed so they don't shoot everywhere when you crush them. On adderall it's really easy and if I have time to crush them then having XRs is great, you can chose exact dose and can do them better sublingually.

Oh yeah I saw some of them. Extended release indeed.
 
If they are the brand name Spansules (the cap will be black and clear with orange balls inside of varying intensities of orange) it is very easy to defeat the time-release.

Since the Spansules are old school, they are simply wax shells surrounding 'balls' of pure d-amp. You'll want to:
1. *slightly* crush the balls (a quick job with a mortar and pestle will do nicely) - enough so that the balls break, but not so much that you're pulverizing the wax material making it homogenous with the d-amp inside.
2. place the whole damned mixture inside a tea strainer (a very fine-mesh wire screen used for sifting the essences of teas out without allowing plant material through)
3. What will result underneath (with some playful shaking) is pure dextroamphetamine powder. ALL of the wax will remain in the mesh screen. I used to do this all the time until it became a real health issue for me and I simply switched back to the Dexedrine IR's.

Anyway, that's how ya do it. Generic brands of the Spansules (I believe they are white and beige in color) are akin to contemporary Adderall XR; that is, the waxy time-release material is homogeneously combined with the d-amp, making separating the two impossible without some complex chemistry.

If they are just white brand name ones then empty the capsule in ashot glass and use the back of a screwdriver for a mortar and pestle. I've never used a Spansule but if they are similar to other beads how necessary is it to really filter the results? Were you IVing?

I never knew you could get the d-amp out of dexedrine spansules so easily, this has me excited...

No, I figured the question was related to wanting to snort the powder. Of course you can simply grind up the balls and snort the d-amp with the wax, but it is somewhat harmful and blocks a significant portion of it from absorbing in the mucus mucosa of the nasal membrane, leading to a drip. If you're merely eating the powdered balls, it will make no difference. Back when I had a script for the brand name Spansules, I hadn't delved into the world of needles yet. But what a rush when snorting pharmaceutical and unadulterated d-amp. Yikes! <3

If I were to fill a script for brand name dexedrine spansules I should be able to be separate the d-amp from the wax easily though? Just making sure this is how they are currently.

Anyone know what the bioavailability of regular d-amp is when smoked? Is it about the same as meth or no?

Never smoked d-amp; didn't ever really appeal to me. I'm sure that, as with methamphetamine, if you had pure dextroamphetamine the bioavailability would be reasonably (if not very) high, though.

And yes, if you were to fill a prescription for the brand name Dexedrine Spansules (TM) that look like the pill above (black and clear two-piece gel cap with orange beads of varying hues inside) you could partially crush (i.e. crack, not pulverize) the orange shells and sift the lot through a fine mesh tea strainer and end up with essentially pure d-amp.

Thanks, appreciate the response. I was also thinking the bioavailability would be pretty high, but I don't want to make assumptions.
 
wtblife, via what route? Smoking or insufflating? I'm sure the insufflated BA is pretty high; oral is >75%, too.

That's easy. I've done it for years. Empty the spansule. Crush it until it's a powder...I use a tiny tea cup. Add an ounce or two of boiling water and stir. Drink as fast as you can before the wax congeals. Refill the cup/glass with boiling water to get all residue. There's much less filler in a spansule than a 5mg short acting. Taking an undesolved spansule on an empty stomach does not work for me. Recently (2013) we had a shortage of fast acting Dexedrine in Vancouver BC so spansules were substituted. One DISSOLVED 10mg spansule worked far better than two 5mg fast acting. I will be having my script changed to spansules. We cannot get Desoxyn in Canada ...which would be my preference.
