Help with DMT!

Hello,
I have been wanting to do DMT but I have trouble finding it and also it is very expensive form what I have heard. So I have wanted to make it on my own, but struggle to know and learn how to make it and how much to make. If anything I need the easiest and simplest method known of how one would make DMT. I am unaware of supplies needed as well.

Then look it up. This information is not hard to find. In fact, it would have been easier to type your question into the search bar than to type this post.
 
This is part of the reason I have joined BL, I looked things up and actually spent quite a bit of time doing research but I wanted to see if there were any easier ways of making DMT than the results I found, and if there were any quicker methods. I read somewhere about being able to use a microwave but the plant thtey used isn't avaible to me so I want to know the easiest method of making it and if there aren't any others then I will have to use hte ones I found
 
You really have to have access to the precursor root bark, usually M. hostilis or the like, if you can't get that there is no point in trying to attempt it IMO.

There is no method to make DMT from household chemicals, undfortunately. All the easy methods of DMT production are extractions from tropical plants.

The simplest method for production of DMT is taking Mimosa hostilis rootbark, grinding it to a fine consistency and soaking it in lye-water (pH 14) for anywhere from 2 to 48 hours, then extracting it with light naptha* repeatedly, combining the solvent fractions and then placing them in a deep freezer to precipitate the DMT freebase.

*aka petroleum ether 40-60C, hexanes, Bestine/heptane will work too

This is considered production of schedule 1 drugs in a lot of localities. In addition, lye and lyewater solutions are highly corrosive and can cause severe tissue destruction, disfigurement, scarring, permanent burns and the like, if you don't take proper precautions. Naptha and related solvents are flammable and if they do catch fire during an extraction, you'll have a hallucinogenic gas cloud form... not something to look forward to.

So ideally you should talk to someone who has done this many times before, in person, and they can show you how it goes. If you are going by the seat of your pants don't be suprised if you end up covered in chemical burns or wasting your time entirely.

Please do at least a little research and try not to cut too many corners.

In practice, the freeze precipitation works best if you reduce the volume of the combined solvent fractions via evaporation at room temperature. Also use the lowest temperature possible when freeze precipitating the N,N-Dimethyltryptamine from the solution.
 
Alright, I will be doing more reseaarch and goo thing I know people who have done this before so I wil talk to them.

We do not allow sourcing on BL. I can tell you that as of 2012 it is hard to find in the US as a domestic product. You can import it from Mexico with the proper contacts but they dont take CC or paypal or anything easy. You will have to go with Acacia Confusia and the days of skipping the defat are over. I gave it 2 tries and i cant tell if it is the bark or the fat in the bark but i yielded clear goo that was definitely plant fats and oils with trace dmt and this was after 2 defat steps, seriously tried my best. I could get the goo to register DMT on a marquis reagent but i couldnt get it to precipitate out in any noticeable fashion

I gave up but thats because i had steady supplies from both mexico and domestic of the MHBR so i got spoiled and after attempts at powdering and everything i decided it is not worth it at this point in my life. I had a good 3 year run on the MHRB though, that stuff was way easy to use. Best of luck and no sourcing, your thread already walks a line... dont cross it :)
