I got a bunch of B-D Tuberculin SlipTip(TM) syringes.
when I inject there is a bunch of medicine/blood left in there, Ive been pulling out more blood and pushing it back in multiple times. Is this how you use these? How are you supposed to inject all of the medicine with these things?

heres what im working with

please help

Yeah, booting is really not good for your veins. I imagine most of the desired drug was introduced to the body even if there seems to be a little bit of fluid left in there.

bump because i need to know 5 minutes ago

BL isn't an emergency service. It is clearly stated in the guidelines not to bump your own threads.

I don't recommend booting multiple times... It's a tiny amount of residue man...

Thank you all for advice. Okay, I pulled up 1 unit of blood and pushed it back 3 times until the medicine it made its full effect.

What are these made for anyway? is it like sticking them up your butt with the blue point removed? Would that work? Luckily I only spent half a pretzel for 10. I think the pharmacist was just being a butthead selling me these saying they were out of the 10packs of the regular orange points. Or maybe for the nose? I don't know; can anyone tell me their purpose?

and now that im out of medicine I can throw these crappy things away. caution don't buy these things... i guess

There is honestly nothing wrong with those syringes.

They are usually like this so that you can first use a drawing up needle-tip to suck up your solution, then switch to a pointed needle-tip for injection.

It also means you can buy a 10 pack of these and buy different guage needle tips to see which you like better.

AGREED

<3 SHOT THROUGH THE HEART AND YOU'RE TOO LATE - BABY YOU GIVE DOPE A BAD NAME bad name

They call that dead space in the syringe.. I have used those and even though the amount left in there is negligable I felt like I was wasting dope so I never used those again.

In all honestly you are doing more damage by jacking off the syringe than just leaving the 1/2 unit or whatever of solution in there.

You don;'t have that issue with insulin syringes.. pretty mcuh every brand has zero dead space if we are talking 1/2-1cc pins. I prefer Terumo which is what the exchange gives but I buy bd pretty often because thats what my local pharmacy sells.

Don't pull out blood and flush and pull out and flush...That's a fast track to injected clotted blood into your veins, and you know what that can lead to...
