Hey guys! I'm new to the site. Ive used it many times in the past for information on random drugs, mostly pharmaceuticals. I also am an addict. My life has made a complete 180 degree turn as I have finally reached the point where I want to free myself from the weight of abusing tramadol. Im tapering off with the help of my doctor and it is incredibly difficult. Im sure those of you who are in the same boat will agree. If your hurting, withdrawing, depressed, addicted or want to talk about topics such as these, here is the place. So tell me your story, Ill tell you mine, and so on. Maybe we can all help each other.

I have used this site many times in the past also via Google searches. But I am not addicted to anything, I'm sorry to hear about that... :(

As a drug addict of 12 years I can totally understand what you're saying. A lot of times an addiction can seem like a noose around your neck. You probably remember your life before addiction and remember how good it seems now. your whole waking life you weren't thinking about drugs. I also remember how good looking I was and how fit I was. I was totally into sports and fitness. I would be truly happy if you managed to get off the drugs. It's always fun in the beginning but it quickly becomes an obsession.

I agree valiumdone, I had a ton of interests before I let drugs into my life. Its so crazy how fast it takes over. I am still in the long process of cleaning up but these posts really help me stay focused on wanting my life back. I will never have the same life as before but I hope that you and I can find a lifestyle that fulfills us and keeps us away from addictive substances. If you don't mind me asking, how are you doing?

Hey Toolegit, welcome to BL! I'm glad you are here. There are a lot of folks that can relate to where you are at and give some great advice and support. I am not in your shoes in regards to the addiction but I definitely feel for you and am wishing you the best in your attempt at recovery. I have suffered from depression for many years and its something I sort of have to work at every day to keep on top of. I know how hard it can be. If you ever want someone to talk to or just someone to dump some stuff on, I am happy to listen. :)
