Help this mother save another

My 20 year old son died from a acciental overdose of a fentanyl patch.
A friend stopped by and asked him to try it. 5 of them chewed a patch and put one on their skin. Some of them puked, passed out, some lived......
My son died in his bed. His brain quit telling his lings to breathe. He drowned in his own blood. His heart continued to pump his blood. So his lungs filled with blood and foam.
I found him. Stiff, cold, foam coming from his mouth. I gave him cpr with a mouth full of blood. I screamed and cried and iam forever with out my only son.
Please get help, go to a church, a doctor who will listen to the addictions.

Hi Nursing. I am 36 and have been using for years. I am sorry about your son. People are going to use drugs. Most people here are educated on this matter and advocate using them as safely as possible. I know losing your son must of hurt and I hope no one replies with something hurtful, but I have to tell you, telling people to not use drugs won't go over well here. Improper use of drugs kills people. Just like a loaded gun can kill someone, but it takes pulling the trigger. Drugs don't kill people. Using them dangerously does. Again, people are going to use drugs. We try to prevent stuff like what happened to your son.

I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy. I cannot imagine how horrified you were when this happened.

I had a close friend who overdosed on methadone and butalbital. His father found him the next morning.
