Ok so I did a .3 of H on Tuesdaynight, and woke up the next morning with wd, (minor but I had to work), so I decided to take a lil suboxone, like 1.5mgs or so. I also found half a pill with a 5 on it (it was missing the zero indicating 50mg). Little to my knowledge it was naltrexone. I know you should never take anything if you don't know what it is but i looked it up and couldn't find anything. 10min after taking it my pupils dilated and I felt like I was having a heart attack, this was at 830am. And at 8:35 I started violently throwing up, I was confused and had terrible withdrawals, but I couldn't miss work. I pulled myself together at 9:15 even though I had goosebumps everywhere, and was hot at the same time. I got to work 5 min later and couldn't leave the bathroom because I shit my pants (like water) and had to go home. I somehow fell asleep for the rest of the day. Now yesterday morning (Thursday) at 9 I took 2mg of suboxone thinking it would help my withdrawals but the naltrexone blocked it, then later that night did another 2 mg but It only helped me sleep. so today I'm sick as a dog and I really want to use H but idk if the 25mg of naltrexone is still working its magic after 48 hrs? Especially if I threw up a few minutes after? And did doing suboxone while on it make it last longer? I have no info on this

The problem is that naltrexone has a moderately long half life and very high receptor affinity. Basically, you can't overcome the blockade with anything less than massive amounts if the first 24 hrs and will seriously risk OD. Even 2-3 days later the effects of heroin will be antagonised to an extent, but you will start to feel them more. it will be about 4 days until you are back to square 1 and can use heroin again.
In terms of the suboxone, the first dose did nothing as receptors all blocked by naltrexone. As the naltrexone began to move off the receptors you may have got a little effect from the very last dose but it's more likely that you got some sleep as the precipitated withdrawal syndrome caused by the naltrexone is also fading in severity, rather than being anything to do with the suboxone. All the suboxone did was to block any newly available receptors appearing as the naltrexone is metabolised with bupenorphine, which at that dose is having little effect, thus making it harder still to now use heroin to relieve the situation.
3 choices 1) Rattle it out, wait till 4 days, hey presto you're clean - go to NA 2) Rattle it out and use after 4 days, your regular amount of heroin (0.3g seems a very small amount). 3) Acquie a decent dose of suboxone 12-14mg, try taking that, continue taking suboxone until desired effect achieved, do not use heroin, do not OD. 4) Use heroin, you now need to overcome the naltrexone, and the partial competitive action of bupenorphine so you will need to take more than your usual dose, so I'd recommend smoking to avoid OD, if you must inject start with regular dose - 0.3 mg, which wont do much, further inject smallish increments until desired affect achieved

Thanks :) I waited it out, and did some white and benzos in the mean time. Luckily I don't use needles after 2 years of use, I like to try n stay in control. stay safe drfoster!! Very informative
