help! suboxone and heroin?! i need an answer

okay so i've been snorting a couple lines of suboxone for like only 3 days now and i snorted 2mg this morning at 6:30 am and its 5:00 pm now and i was wondering if i IV'd some dope if i would feel it or if the nax and beuf or whatever will still block my receptors?!? im cravingg a shot but i really do not wanna waste it seeing as how its my last one, thank you

Save the shot - the bupe is still in you until tomorrow mid-day the earliest that you'd feel anything.

I find a full 2 days since my last bupe dose will allow me to properly feel an opiate.

if you have only been taking them for a few days, and only 2mg way earlier this morning, I'd say you would be ok to shoot some dope although the high will most likely be kind of dulled.

I would wait till the 24 hour mark. But 2mg probably isnt a blocking dose so you will feel the shot but it wont be as strong. I find that when I shoot up on bupe I get the rush but not much of a high YMMV.

yeh i ended up waiting a couple more hours nd shot it i felt pretty good but not amazing, thanks guys

Just to clarify - it is the buprenorphine occupying your receptors, not the naloxone. The naloxone doesn't get a look-in as it has a lower receptor affinity than the buprenorphine, so it is effectively useless.

Glad you waited and it worked (even if it wasn't quite as good as you hoped!) - buprenorphine can hang around for a long time..
