HELP! - Potentially BAD Roxy?

I got a batch of 100 blue A-215 Roxy's last night (from a new source) and initially tested one by snorting a half a pill. The effects were exactly as expected and I was extremely happy and purchased all 100.

However, 45mins later, I felt extremely nauseas and about 15mins later was tachycardic........Racing heart, shortness of breath, slight chest pains and feeling very feint. I thought I would pass out and was extremely concerned and almost called the ER!
It felt like speed or EX, mixed in or something.....Something just did not feel right. This lasted an hour and finally subsided after taking a xanax. But I did fall asleep so was not sure how things ended. All I know is I am happy to be alive this morning!

I realize this could have potentially been a panic attack? After NEVER having one before, its hard to believe a panic attack could do that?

I have taken 100-120mg of oxy/hydro daily for 2 years - but all orally. The last time I snorted oxy was in Mexico when I got some roxy 30's (different to these) and I absolutely LOVED it and never had symptoms like this.

I am in San Diego and wonder if anyone knows of any bad/fake batches of blue A-215 roxy's going around? Based on the symptoms above, can anyone please help?? As mentioned, initial snort was awesome and as expected. These symptoms only happened 45 mins - 1 hour later.

I now have 100 of these and am in serious WD's but too scared to try another. I tasted a tiny bit now and it tastes a little bitter. I don't know what else to do??

Although it's unlikely, I suppose it's possible that your source could have some kind of pill press with the A-215 mark, and adulterate the pills with a cut to save money.

I'd say it's more likely, however, that it was some sort of personal panic-like reaction. For what reason? No clue. What were your thoughts at the time? If you were going through something stressful or thinking about something like that after you took the pill... those are definitely symptoms that can happen during a panic attack.

I was reading online and did read about someone getting a bad roxy and dying and some other story's so I suppose I was kind of freaked out already. But prior to that was pretty nauseas. Again, my tolerance is fairly high (well 120mg a day high) so I fail to see how only 15mg could have done that when I normally take 30mg in one dose orally.

I did snort the 15mg though, and did not take orally..........Again, initially, I felt great but things went rapidly downhill..........after never having a panic attack, but reading about them, I would say its plausible. However, I honestly thought I was going to die and it was not pleasant at all!

Can anyone confirm the image matches what the pills should look like and does anyone have any advice here.

I have BAD WD's right now and have 100 of these pills right next to me.......too nervous to try them again.......serious catch 22!

It is impossible for us to know if your pills are fake or not. Your reaction could have been caused by many different factors. We don't know. If you are experiencing an adverse reaction, do not take those pills again. I'm assuming you didn't get them at the pharmacy. If you did, contact your pharmacist (and doctor) ASAP. Your symptoms are similar to symptoms of a panic attack - although I am not for sure that's what happened. How long have you been in withdrawals? It is possible that your opiate tolerance has decreased significantly, as tolerance always drops during WDs.

There have been fake Roxicodone pills on the market for a while now. They seem to come and go in waves. If in doubt, don't take the pill.

Nope did not get them from the pharmacy. What is strange to me is that initially, the feeling was exactly what I would expect and I was super happy (which is why I made the purchase of all 100).......not cheap at all I might add.

So now I am stuck with them and stuck with bad WD's and no other source.

Is there any other way I can try to identify them myself? (taste, some sort of chemical test, etc.??).

Anyone else know of fake/bad pills like these ones?

How long have you been in withdrawals? It is possible that your opiate tolerance has decreased significantly, as tolerance always drops during WDs.

Pretty much for today. Have not taken opiates since the episode last night.

My tolerance would have dropped a bit as I was low and taking kratom mixed with percocet for the last week. But I did only take 15mg last night and this would not have been too much for my tolerance at all.

You could use reagent testing. You can get a test kit such as Ez Test and get some idea of what is in the pills. Other than this you'd need to have a sample examined in a lab.

It seems most likely that they are normal and you had a panic attack or something rather than the pills being fake and cut with some substance that briefly mimics opioids then causes symptoms of a panic attack but how can we know?

I know, it does seem pretty far fetched to be exactly like an opiate for an hour and then suddenly initiate crazy symptoms similar to a panic attack! The addict in me wants to try a tiny bit more because my WD's are getting bad. But when I remember how I felt last night, I just don't know!

I will look into this test kit......thanks. Pretty screwed until it gets here though.......not feeling good right now

^Your best bet is test kit or throwing out the pills. I'm going to close this thread for the time being since we can't tell for certain what happened to you and/or if the pills are fake and guessing isn't harm reduction and is against our No Substance ID Threads Rule. OP, PM me if/when you get the test kit and test the pills or if you have any questions. In the meantime, go get yourself some loperamide (Immodium) to help with the withdrawals.
