PLEASE, provide feedback. Did a shot of dilaudid this morning. It was a 40 cc I found sitting around from three days earlier. I used tap water and it tasted like Mildew or Mold. I don't know why I did this but 2 hours later I started getting Fever like symptoms. 10 hours later it has only gotten worse. I have chills, shortness of breath, horrible headache, and pain in legs. As long as a worsening temperature. I would usually be at the dR. doctor right now but am in Canada, it will cost my parents loads of money and i dont want them finding out. How long should I wait to go into the hospital??? PLEASE HELP! :?

Don't wait. Go now. You have already waited longer than you should.

Health is more important than money. Your parents can pay bills, they can't revive you if you croak. Emergency healthcare in Canada is covered by government-backed health plans anyway.

In future, don't EVER do something like this again... shit, man.

Go to the hospital.

Seriously? Go to the hospital. I thought Canada had free healthcare?

For future HR: Don't re-use rigs, use sterile water...

I am going to wait until tomorrow. I went by the doctor to find out prices and it is 1500 dollars for a USA resident. Thank you guys for responding so quickly. I will post updates tomorrow. If I don't I am in the hospital or worse.

I'm sure that funeral / burial / cemetery plot expenses are more than what your hospital bills may be, plus as someone mentioned there is healthcare that may cover it, so please go to the hospital now.

Ive read up on it and cotton fever is not sooo dangerous and can last up to 24 hours. I'm young and have a strong immune system. I think my body can fight it until tomorrow morning.

As has been mentioned, you should be worried more about your life and less about how much seeing a doctor to save your life would cost.

I'm closing this thread. Bluelight isn't an emergency service. Seek professional medical help now.
