Every state is different, there is no way we could even begin to guess what would happen. It all depends on circumstances, prior record, amount of aubtance, county laws, etc.

What was the substance? How much did you have? Do you have anything already on your criminal background? These are all important factors, among others, for sentencing. But a sentence for this charge can range quite widely from supervised probation with or without some kind of drug treatment program, to a couple years in jail. Unless we are talking about multiple pounds or kilos, then you could do some major time. Good Luck.
