Stimulants Help needed with Methylphenidate

Friend of mine got two 40mg Ritalin pills. We want to study tomorrow in the university. I'm looking for a good mood boost and stimulation, but with focus and lack of negativity body load (jitters, anxiety, significantly fast heart rate and elevated blood pressure). I'm not looking for euphoria either. What would you advise me then ? For the record: I tolerate amphetamine well. Caffeine on the other hand makes me jittery and anxious. Would it be wise to split the 40mg pill into two halves and consume it oraly ? We will study for more than 10 hours. Is there any other substance that could prolong/enhance the effects ? Should I acquire Clonazepam for the comedown? Last time I used Methylphenidate was 3 years ago. It was 20mg instant release through oral route. It made me talkative and put in me into good mood. Two weeks ago, I took 10mg instant release through oral route. I didn't feel anything.
