Help needed identifying 2 different (hopefully mescaline-containing) cacti

Hey BlueLight and thanks for a great forum - i been a on/off reader for many years.

But here goes my first question (on this profile, i forgot the l/p for my last one - its some years since i used it the last time):

I got two different cactuses (which should contain mescaline - i got lots more without) that i need help identifying as i am thinking about making myself a little brew.

Here is the first one from top to bottom (and one of my cats that found a way to get her cute little face put online):

And this is the second one (of which i got about 15-20 of medium size, i got them from a mate who didn't want them anymore because of the wifey):

I'm fairly certain the first one is San Pedro but I'd wait till someone more experienced/knowledgeable comes in.

We don't allow ID threads here, sorry. Although with cacti identification is often easier than say with mushrooms, there are many similar looking species and it's not something you should rely on an answer on a forum about, particularly on a forum that is not full of budding cacti taxonomists

Looks like San Pedro to me, and that would be my first guess given how common it is, particularly if you were given/sold these as Mescaline-containing cacti, but I can't tell you for sure. You should ask the people you got them from, I'm sure they will know
