HELP! methadone, klonopin and xanax!!!

hi im on methadone maintenance for about 4 months at 60 mg. i dosed at 9am. at 9am i also took 3 mg of klonopin which did NOTHING! i need like 15mg of kpins to feel anything. anyway i got my hands on 2mg xanax bars, and i really wanna pop 3-4 mg, would that be ok or am i playin wit fire? i do have a very high benzo tolerance. as i said kpins and ativan do NOTHING to me anymore. i need to take at least 4mg of xanax to feel anything. i usually take like 6mg xanax plus sometimes close to 10mg xanax. would i be ok to dose the xany on top of the kpins? its been about 6 hrs since i dosed em. thx all!!!

considering the combination of methadone and benzos is one of the top killers worldwide due to the potentiation risk, i'd say you are indeed playing with fire. doubly so if high doses of benzos or tolerance is involved. things can change overnight or if you use in a different environment and you don't want to find out when you fall unconscious and die.

i take high amount of benzos with my dones all the time, several times a week. hell i've taken 14mg of ativan one day on top of my done dose and felt NOTHING. i've taken 10mg of klonopin on top of my done dose YESTERDAY and felt NOTHING! i snorted the last 3 mg i had this morn, i think i should be ok to take 3mg of xanax and see how i feel from there. maybe take another mg or two later if i feel ok. i always watch my vitals and whatnot.

It sounds like you don't need nor want our advice. It would seem as though you are going to continue to play with the matches and gasoline regardless of our cautions. The funny thing about benzos are that they cause you to lose all inhibitions, which means you don't realize how fucked up you are until it's too late.

I would definitely not do this.. methadone and xanax synergize very strongly. More of my friends and acquaintances have kicked of on a methadone xanax combination than all the others combined. I was also on methadone and xanax for many years. If you are going to add the xanax in the mix why not add in a much smaller amount and see how it goes. Throwing that much in the mix and you could just melt over while taking your vitals. thats the way people go.. they just nod off and never wake up.

I do not see any advantage to taking all the xanax at once. Why not wander in slowly, gives you time to size up whats going to go down.. we can always take more, but never less.

Throw a half stick on the fire if you feal comfortable with that and then give it three hours to see how you feal.

Please also become familiar with come up times of the benzos you are dealing with as this provides you with accurate references for redosing and adding doses.

snorting benzos is for people that don't know better, they hardly work this way. n Their bioavailability oi shit this way.
