help me pick out a bong?

i wouldnt be surprised if prices skyrocketed from these ones if i went to a local shop... i do have a friend who knows a guy who owns one, but even still, i dont think i'd be able to find anything remotely reasonable.
im basing this on the fact that a small bowl that would easily cost less than $10 online might run for $20-30 in any headshop around here.

oh and thanks roose for editing my post

never had any interest in vapes, i want a bong haha

Bongs are nice but you should research about vapes. nothing will get you as high as a vape. Everyone who has smoked out of my vape says it beats smoking...

If you just have to get a bong get one with no percolators, no bubblers no attachments. Just a thick straight tube with a diffused downstem.

Anything from Illadelph.

Dude those bongs look rediculously expensive, complex and easy to break. If it was me id get the 2nd one. Something simple is just so much easier iv got a 50 dollar glass bong with rubber base/grommets and a metal stem/bowl. Sure its not as good as glass on glass but trust me at one time or another your bong is gonna get broken, weather you want to be losing 400 $ + or 50 dollars is up to you.

p.s its real hard to find glass on glass in aus, if i could, i would, but id still go for something small, simple and relatively cheap.

the whole point is i want something expensive and flashy so i can show it off... ive never owned anything like that in my life.
i know i wouldnt be using it like every day, and it probably wouldnt leave the room/house very often, if at all, so less chance of it breaking.

If I had to pick, I'd go with that AquaLab.

Have you checked out local headshops? Or is that not an option? Personally, I'm not one for labels, and would rather spend the +~$200 you pay for a label on a more intricate piece. That being said, I've never really been impressed by the "name brands", and local = way to go for me.

i havent had the chance to look around where i live, but (dunno if i already mentioned this in here) prices for stuff is generally pretty expensive, like a cheap bowl that i could find for $10 or less anywhere online might be $20 or 30 at the cheapest headshop here.

so i wouldnt be surprised if everything was a hell of a lot more expensive if i bought it here. i'll definitely look around though.

If you haven't checked around yet, definitely hold off until you have.. Last time I went and checked out the local headshops, one or two had some huge deal going on.. 20%-50% off on all glass. Something that like means you can get a super elaborate piece for a "normal piece's" price.. You can always barter at the headshop, too - a sale is a sale in their eyes.

we're in the middle of a heatwave right now its like 100+ degrees outside, but im gonna wait and once this blows over head into the city and see what i can find.

theres this headshop owner that my friend buys weed from, so if i get her to buy it for me i'm sure i could get a discount there. i wanna see what kind of selection he has though, ive never actually been in there.

good idea.. just take your time on picking your piece out. make sure you explore all your options, cuz it always sucks when you head to a headshop and see a piece around the same price + is more to your liking.
