Heroin help me and my girl kick with the meds we got

^^^ when you snort suboxone it is actually more effective, meaning to get straight you need less intranasal than you would sublingual. BUT it does effect the duration. It will last quite a bit longer if taken sublingually. Honestly, most doctors that prescribe suboxone don't know shit about the drug. The also think that the naloxone in it prevents people from being able to snort or shoot it...I'm just sayin, take what your doctor says with a grain of salt

Don't get me wrong dude, I love snorting pills and I would snort my subs if it was worth it, but it just isnt. I have tried it and compared it a number of times and sublingual is just much better.

Snorting also seems to make every drug last shorter than other routes, so if the OP only has 12mg i would think he would want to use the route that makes them last the longest.

Also, I had a 300-400 oxy habit before my iv dope habit (which that amt of oxy doesn't even TOUCH). I get nj/nyc dope..definitely good shit and keep a pretty serious habit-MUCH more than 8bags a day..more like 8 bags a shot, and I am fine on like 2mg subutex am and 2mg pm and I can taper down after switching back to bupe after a couple of days without a prob.

12mg for a 200mg oxy habit or 8 bags of dope? fuckin overkill man. Do you listen to everything your doctor tells you?
 
i am prescribed 8mg of sub a day, and i find that i can go a week or two of IVing about a bundle a day to then taking 4mg of sub (under the toungue) in the morning and being fine all day. OP, i think that if you were to insufflate 1 or 2mg a day, maybe throughout the days you feel strongest W/Ds, you would be okay. also, i'd reccomend taking medium doses of the benzos on the days you aren't able to take the subs. it will at least take some of the edge off, ya know? but try not to take them every day, because if you do, you are going to have W/Ds from those, too...and that defeats the purpose haha
also, the doses could vary between your weights/habits.... as in, if your fiance weighs less then you/does less than you, it will take less of the substance to have her feeling alright than it will for you, or vice versa.
and finally it really all comes down to being in your head....you can get through it, just dont give up, believe in yourself!and remmember.... if things seem like they cant get any worse, they can only get better... congratulations on the marriage best wishes!

no i don't listen to everything my doctor says. I speak from personal experience. But i would trust a doctor over you anyday.

Sveets there's no reason to be so adversarial. We get it, you prefer the SL route over the IN. Other people disagree. As Transform aptly pointed out, there is not a substantial difference in BA between the routes. Obviously duration of effects will vary some but ultimately it comes down to personal preference so I'm a little confused as to your motivation to keep arguing about this.
 
Wikipedia happens to be perfectly well researched on this topic... Before bashing, maybe research?

I'm not trying to be adversarial. I'm simply stating opinions and people are saying that i am wrong. And that other guy was just being a dick in his post.
 
Damn Taylor, quit talking the bull shit, stay on the junk, you always go back, hell i always go back, if you really want to do a comfortable detox and your girl can too, call up DCA (durham center access) there is a place in chapel hill called freedom house that can detox people. If they can't help you at their facility then they WILL KNOW where you should call. All of these places are set up for people with no money so cost will not be an issue. Hope to see you soon, I'll be back that way soon. Found a dude up here that's playin the same game I am, I got a feelin we will be headin' outta here soon and back to Durham. I laughed my ass off, thanks for the chuckle, but all jokes aside I work in the hoods of Detroit so I really am surrounded by my drug of choice. But good luck you have more than a lot of people who quit, and they succeeded, its just if you want to or not.
