Okay somehow I have run out of my script four days early. I seriously think I had mistaken taking double doses since my short term memory is crap. my question is. Will lyrica help ease these withdrawals....I am on 1 mg twice daily and I'm sure unless someone stole them that I took more......Now I get a script of 75mg of lyrica three times a day and I want to conserve this batch for the long road ahead till thursday.....So how do y'all see this as helping me the most. I just want to survive this. i know it's going to be hard but Man, I wished I didn't have to go thru this.

In my state u can fill a kpin script 3 days early, I'm in Massachusetts , I hope this helps. Check online for the specific rules in ur state :) good luck:)
Sry is it a benzo script or oxy script?

Thanks for your concern.....Is there anybody out there who knows how well lyrica will help me with withdrawals,

I've heard of it being helpful getting through opiate withdrawals. Not too sure about benzos though.

My old shrink would give me a 1-2 day supply til my appointment if I went slight over my prescribed amt as long as I was honest. I'm an extreme case but u never know. Dr said I had to keep it in my system or else I could have seizures. Be honest with ur dr

Yes lyrica helps ... I take 300mg off the lyrica when im out of benz and percs. It goes a long way. At night I take benadryl with 150mg of lyrica

I would go to an urgent care center if you cannot refill your Klonopin script till Thursday, and they might supply a three or four day supply of the script, but that is no guarantee; you have to take benzo withdrawals very seriously. Other than an urgent care center, there is always the ER, which is warranted when you are really in danger as you are now with no benzo's. Those aside, I don't know if you could get your psychiatrist to call in a few days' extra, if you explained to him the situation and tell him it was an honest mistake. But, you have to get benzo's in your system by Thursday; no question.

I saw him today.....I got Eon Sandoz clonazepam so everything is ok......I just wished the big mainstream pharmacies would show a little compassion.

Thanks for your concern.....Is there anybody out there who knows how well lyrica will help me with withdrawals,
YES. This is an old post, but I can add something of value. Psychiatrists have known that Lyrica is helpful with 'benzo' withdrawal.

I don't want to sound like your mum, but you REALLY don't want to go through benzo withdrawal -- seizures, rapid or even wild heat beat, etc. This is POORLY UNDERSTOOD by most ER Docs, who will work you up as a stroke patient, so avoid the ER.

Lyrica at 150mg three times a day will help. Better, if your shrink has never seen you running early on clonazepam, then just go to 'em. To sum it up, don't fuck with your benzo script.

Short term, Lyrica can help. There is even a Canadian paper on this. They did a long term study of 80 veterans of Afghanistan treated with clonazepam 1mg four times a day -- all said they wanted off of benzos and were put on increasing doses of Lyrica as clonazepam was reduced to nil. So yes, Lyrica is helpful in the short run. Please let me know how you are doing (anyone...).

Re Pharmacy -- They are all scared to death by our wonderful government, as are the docs!! In the States, they treat it like a CII drug when it's a CiV drug. I would find a pharmacy that has a low turnover of staff. Over time they will work with you on anything that's not CII. Again Lyrica will work, 150mg three times a day like that Canadian study. Best of luck!! Anyone else in this jam, let me know (written Feb 2015)

There is nothing as bad a Benzo WD! I know- I was on 8 mg Klonopin fo 13 years. What I did was slowly reduce it and when I got down to 1.5 mg I switched to valium reducing 1 mg per week- I am currently at 6 mg V.
it still hurts but nothing like it would if CT!
You should 1. goggle the Ashton Maual 2. find a benzo wise Dr to help 3.join Benzobuddies
