Help, I've lost drugs in a public place!

Hello, I managed to lose a bag of drugs in a public place, after checking I've come to the conclusion that they fell out of my pocket in a restaurant, it was one bag containing a pill and a half and just under half a gram of coke. My issue is I paid on card in the restaurant so they have my details. Does anyone know the police procedure if that quantity of drugs us found somewhere like that?

Unless you're on camera dropping your drugs, I'm having a hard time seeing how they could pinpoint who's drugs they were. Just consider them a loss and don't worry about it.
 
LOL, If I was in your shoes, I would definitely be paranoid, especially after I smoked weed when I got home.

Truthfully though, you shouldn't even worry, it isn't good business practise for a restaurant to call the Police on a customer who paid their bill, didn't cause any trouble and has now left, for at least two reasons. Firstly why would you want to virtually guarantee that customer was never going to return to your restaurant, secondly, it isn't a good image to have the Police show up at your business while you have customers there.

I reckon either the waiter or the next customer would very likely of taken it. Even if management did get told what happened and decide to call the Police, I think at some point in the process either the Police or Court system would realise that they didn't have a case worth prosecuting.

Obviously, this is all just my opinion and it wouldn't be impossible for something to come of it, but I would be surprised.

Yeah the catering industry is well known for having a high percentage of wreckheads so they probably had a good time on your drugs.

Reminds me of a mate freaking out once cos he left a card with his name on it in a pub toilet with cocaine residue everywhere.
 
Even if they did call the police, they have better things to do than try build a case around one pill and half a gram of coke, especially if they have to work hard to prove it was actually you.
 
Ha! I've lost drugs I thought I still had but I lost them in my brain, or I lost them in my own flat… to find them much later when I thought they were stolen.. or lost in public.

But -- I've worked in restaurants for years while using. If a waiter found it there's a small percentage they'll keep it! :)
If not and you left it by your table you could be in trouble… but bussers also use drugs… Who doesn't?
Good news is, who doesn't might not care. I would say you're probably OK

I'd say.. 96% of people werking restaurants do drugs.. I wish I had found it. I'd be a happy camper.
On a side note; Has anyone found drugs before (That were NOT your own at one point?)
 
Ha! I always found drugs on the ground when I didn't want them, or not the drug (my doc) I needed at the time.
After I got clean ... off cocaine I found a couple grams right near a bus stop.
