Background my pal joe started iv h 2 weeks ago after a long 1.5 year oxycodone/roxi habit that ended at 120-150 mg a dose 500-800 mg a day snorting only. Anyway he switched to it h 2 weeks ago been saving a lot of $$ and 3 days ago he woke up middle of the night sitting up he nodded to sleep sitting up and woke up 4 hrs later he Did the same thing the night b4, anyhow he woke up and his feet were swollen not super big but swollen pretty solidly anyways it doesn't hurt him or really bother him at all but he is wondering is it from the h, or from falling asleep sitting up 2 nights in a row 6 hrs one night and 4 hrs the next night. Or from something else plz help thank you?

Could be from the inactivity nodding in bed. tell him/you to drink a few glasses of water, walk around, watch salt intake, and eat something. get that blood pumping and see if it goes away. Honestly it's probably just edema from water retention from not being able to pee on the H and the inactivity.
HOWEVER, if you push on the skin and it stays white for a really long time, this is a circulation issue and may merit some medical attention.
