Hey, i just found some hydromorphones ( Dilaudid,i assume) in my moms room, 4mg, i snorted 3, was feeling fine, just dandy, now i am afraid to fall asleep... I'm exausted, but am keeping myself up, afraid of falling asleep, i've puked a few times, upset stomach off and on, is this the come down of this stupid drugs?... Or what.. i'm quite afraid...

well fuck don't snort 12mg your first time, keep yourself up for a couple of hours and you should be okay. Next time do a google search, you're lucky dilaudid has a shit nasal BA. If you put 12mg in your ass or your veins you'd probably be dead now.
that's not the come down, you took too much and ruined the experience. Have someone watch over you that knows what you took, dilaudid wears off fast, if it's been like 6 hours since you took it, you are probably safe. As long as you didn't mix it with any CNS depressants whatsoever in any dose, you'll proably just nod out, enjoy the nod and be more careful next time.
was it hydromorphone or hydromorphcontin? beads in a capsule or pill? we get the bead ones often here in Canada and 12mg of those up the dose without being crushed would do nothing probably.

Thats called the nod. You fall asleep alot doing opiates. Dillies are pretty strong stuff. Miles over hydrocodone or oxycodone. Its actually hydromorphone and is what hydrocodone breaks down to. Kinda same process as breaking morphine down into smack. But I digress drink some caffeine if you dont wanna fall asleep. Dont take so much pills if you dont know what they are. Im not trying to lecture you, thats just powerful medicine.

Stealing drugs (especially ones which you have no clue about how they work) from your mom is fucking stupid. If you keep doing shit like this you are going to end up in a lot trouble or dead and give the rest of the responsible drug users a bad name.

Like others have said that is WAY too much for your first time. I've got a moderate tolerance right now and I would probably feel pretty damn good from that dose. It really only takes a few minutes online to figure out what a good dose will be. When it could be the difference between life and death its certainly time well spent. Thankfully it looks like enough time has passed and it looks like you'll be okay. Please take this experience to heart and learn from it. Better yet just stop taking opiates. Too many good people are completely destroyed by narcotics.
