Help! I was just told 75% of ravers are gay!

skinny-d: i think i get your point. my best friend, she's very cute & good looking, very often complains about those guys dancing around her in a club hitting on her. and she _really_ can show that she's not interested (blelieve me :-)), but most of the guys just don't let go. so i can understand your point.
but i guess a girl is not supposed to be pissed off and shit in these situations... well, she still likes boys, though she had lots of bad experiences with them.
one thing i can't understand: how can somebody see that someone is straight? i mean, if a person behaves feminin and does all that flamboiant (sp?) stuff like how gays are portrait in the movies, then its obvious that they are gay. and if somebody turns his head everytime a girl walks by, then it's obvious that he's straight. but if somebody just behaves normal, you can't tell.
from your post i understand that hitting on somebody and telling somebody a compliment is "sutpif shit"? maybe i got that wrong (language barrier...)
when it comes to ecstasy, you say it turns you fake. well, it lowers your barriers and shows more of your inner self, that part that you usually hide. hmm, so if that what's in you is fake, then the way you normally behave with all your defenses up is the real thing??? dunno. and ecstacy makes you gay? most of my rolling friends are still with their girl, but hey, you're right, two of them i haven't seen in a wihle... they probably felt the effect of ecstacy and go to a gay club now. how sad.

oh, one last thing 8the language barrier again): you say "I'm hardcore and straight". What does hardcore mean in this context? That you're into hardcore techno/house etc.? that you behave very rude? that you look very, well, dunno the word, you know, shaven head, tatoos all over, those doc marten's boots and spitting all the time???

it was a while ago, but i was really really f*cked up at this party. my friends were fu*ked up too but they were dancing hard on the floor.
i was sooooo f*cked up where i just needed someone to lean on really BAD. so i found this dude sitting next me and "asked him" if it was ok to lean on him. and he said it was ok..so i did.
after a min or so..he said "stop hitting on me, i am not kidding". he was really upset and all, i could tell. but i wasnt doing anything!(i didnt see his girlfriendish was coming back then, my friend told me about her afterwords) i couldnt even talk then, so i just found someone else instead.(he was really cool and everything

Everyone, please check me out! I'm really a nice guy, don't get me wrong about this whole gay thing. I've just had a lot of bad eXp. with all this gay stuff. But I don't have a bald head. I was hoping to shave it finally again because my hair is pretty long. I do have a lot of tattoos. But I have had them for many years, even before I was hardcore. Well, I guess I've always been hardcore, but I didn't make music back then. I made them all myself so their just little and not huge covering my whole body or anything like that. I guess I can't blame the gay people THAT much beacue I am cute as hell. So I guess they just cannot resist me and I guess if they can't help it then I take back some of that stuff I said.
BUT, I could argue all night about whether or not ecstasy makes you fake. Anyone who thinks it brings out your inner self, is GREATLY MISTAKEN. That is an excuse and a rumor that some raver started because he loves ecstasy so much and doesn't want to realize that he is fake on it. Well, don't be bummed out! Just realized that it's good to be Normal and Natural sometimes. I've also learned with my EXP. that I'd rather be normal and natural than fake and buzzed. Being gay is something that happens at birth. If you're not gay at birth, then you're not REALLY GAY. BEans just make you SEEM gay. I hope I've straightend everything out.

So, this pinger fag cannot even understand that I never said it was okay for guys to hit on women. I don't agree with that either.
I think it's better to talk to a person first, than to just go up to them and start dancing with them UNLESS (there's the key word pinger and if you cannot understand then you are the idiot) they know they're single or gay or whatever, depending on the situation. I'm not here to tell you your views or feelings are wrong. Everyone has the right to feel and act however they deem appropriate UNTIL that behavior becomes intentionally harmful towards others.
Being gay myself, I will be the first one to admit that a some gay guys are sex-driven maniacs.......as are some straight guys. I will be the first to admit that some gay guys can be very rude by pursuing people that aren't interested in them......as are some straight guys. Catch my drift?
The ONLY difference between homosexuals and heterosexuals is who they sleep with. That's it. I get equally irritated with the "flirting" tactics of gays and straights alike.
To sum up this little rambling - don't stereotype and generalize an entire group of people based on your experiences with a few of them.

I DON'T like it when ANYONE hits on someone in a rude way. I understand if people are all fucked up and drunk but they should have learned their lesson by now. One of these days, some gay guy is going to hit on the wrong person. I don't do anything except get up and leave the room or whatever. I just get away. So, I hope you understand now that I never said anything rude first. So I should "heed" my own words as you would say. I was saying the same exact thing as you were. Maybe I forgot to mention that I don't like to be around anyone who would do what gay people have done to me. But this isn't a message board about straight people. It's about being gay so that's why I mentioned my point. And that 95 % thing is true too. If you even read that part. So I can understand what you mean, but Pinger, I just think he's a very good example of what I mean when I say I don't like gay people. Even if he thought I didn't like gays, he didn't have to say shit like that. He was pretty harsh and even offended me. That's the only credit i'll give him but i dont like to be offended. I think everyone here has some good points. I agree with most of you that "hitting" on people can be annoying whether str8 or gay. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that it is ok to make some sort of casual, flirtatious advance on someone you find attractive and then register the response. If you do not immediately get some sort of recognition either by eye contact or body language that the other person is interested the you should IMMEDIATELY back off and respect the other person. I think most str8 and gay people are too aggressive and push their hormones too far. As a cute gay boy, I get "hit" on all the time and I usually just ignore the person hoping they will go away and some do but the one's that do not really piss me off.
