HELP I was given a strange ecstasy like drug that I was told was crystal PLEASE HELP!

So today, I put my dealers newly purchased batch of what I was told was crystal, and I didn't see any reason to not believe my dealer due to the fact that it was partially in crystal form, and the majority of it was a bunch of powder and smaller chunks of more crystal. I put it in a capsule and took it right before I left for school as I usually do on school days where I use the boost to help me in my schoolwork and overall performance enhancement in all aspects of my life. I popped the pill, like I had done many times before, same 100mg dose and all. However, heres what happened to me, and a lot of it occurred while in class, mind you:

15min-I notice I feel a kind of sluggish in my face, and notice my eyes begin drooping, like a half-nod, a nod without the actual sleeping

30 min- my pupils are massively dilated by this point, I feel a post-magic loss ecstasy body high, which is a nice change in feeling, considering I haven't rolled in around 2 years

45 min- I am in class and I cannot stop talking, moving my feet around(due to incessant restlessness that had overcome my whole body)
and my jaw had long since began grinding and shit, the typical ecstasy induced kind of jaw crazies, much more intense than the basic amphetamines, which I had by then realized was not speed like I was told it would be when I bought the sack

1:15min- I become extremely overheated, at about 101 degrees at the highest, so in a panic, I call my mother and tell her I was spiked with what I thought to be very strong molly or some form of MDxx due to the unusual intensity I felt, despite my permanent tolerance to the drug

2:00min- I have my mom take me to the hospital, and they of course dont help at all or give me any sort of lead as to what the hell I took


however, once I got my drug test results back, I knew one thing for sure, two things actually:

1. I was definitely not on any methamphetamine
2. The drug test results came up clean for MDMA, so it wasn't real ecstasy, whatever it was.


so I would like to know what on earth I took and why it was so strong even on me, with the curse of the permanent ecstasy tolerance, that previously resulted in not even feeling any different than being sober when i would take ecstasy. So please help. I want to know what I was on!

Well thank god you went to hospital. Didn't they give you anything to counteract the reaction, Valium for instance?

There's a lot of reports going around at the moment that ecstasy tablets/MDMA are containing PMA and are killing numbers of people around the world. Man it's fucked up. I think perhaps that may have been what was in it - did you experience any hallucinations? If not I'm pretty sure it was PMA.

Unfortunately we don't really allow these kind of threads - drug identifying. However I'm going to let this remain open for a while because of the many horror stories about cut mdma at the moment.

If you'd be so kind, could you tell us where you're located; so we can put a stamp up regarding purchasing of this stuff in the area in aid of harm reduction?

I'm sorry about your horrible experience. I hope you've recovered and you're not suffering any further problems. I think it would be best for you to go get a full check up of your body as well, just to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.

I am located in the Los Angeles area, and no, I did not experience any hallucinations, but i did get the droopy eyes that I hadn't experienced in such a long time when taking "ecstasy" drugs in the past, could this be a certain drug that does this, because usually MDxx makes my eyes jiggle but usually not with a "nodding" type heavy feeling in upper eyelid, resulting in a drunk, sedated look, contrary to the stimulant properties of the drug. The worst part is I just wanted to concentrate in class, not roll for a short time (3 hours of real pleasure, the rest being just after effects, however still 'fucked up' nonetheless, just not pleasurable)

Well from what you're describing happening to your eyelids frankly it sounds like a seizure. I'm sure it wasn't though so don't be too concerned. I really have no clue what drug it could have been and none of us really do - I'm thinking along the lines of PMA or a cathinone, but again I can't be sure.
