This is an interesting thread.
"Theres hope for addictions, but no cure for ignorance, as its a self-imposed disease."
Excuse me sir, but isn't addiction a so-called self-imposed disease? I'm not trying to say my personal opinion here; I am just pointing out that addiction is generally considered a self-imposed disease.
And whoever said that we all do shit like this, one form or another. Yes, I agree (though it reaches different levels from person to person. The worst I've done is re-use my own needles or pick up a cotton I left in the air and mix it up with ten other cottons to get one last shot, while for others it may be using spit, snow, or reusing a needle who was used by someone else). But as they say, "everyone has their number" and someone will get hurt by simply reusing a needle, which causes their arm to get infected. Or someone will try to inject xanax, and it will end in amputation.
The poster could be considered lucky in this case. The human body is very resilient, so don't think that I'm against all such practices, after all, as someone pointed out, we're human(which works two ways in what I'm saying, we're human as we do dumb things, and that our human bodies can kick bacterial ass). But don't make that your excuse when you need amputation, because it won't change a thing.
