Help- how can i make some 3/4 melt?

I search for how to make hash threads and only found archives i couldnt comment on. Sorry if this has been done mods :/

What would be the best step by step method to extract oils using butane?

Budders been made, melted with chocolate and molded into bars but i need that next level. Guess i was spoiled and smoked 3/4 melt like it was 5$ bubble. First attempt to make hash oil went lile this, 2 grams of shake into plastic tube, butane sprayed butane thru tube onto plate causing a yellow oil wich i scraped smoked. It was so disgusting, this cant be the method.
 
Yep, that's the method, although you might want to make sure you're using a plastic that's resistant to attack by butane, and use more, higher quality weed.
 
We've always used butane lighter fluid.
IMO, the kind of plastic is more important than the quality of butane.

In our experience, the weed doesn't have to be high quality.
We usually only take the parts that remain after cutting.
Definitely not smoking material, but good enough for oil extraction.

Oh yeah, we usually put the weed in a bottle and spray the butane into the bottle.
That way, the pressure in the bottle will 'push' the THC out of the weed.
So nothing with a plastic tube or anything... :)

Should i poke holes in the bottle or cut bottom off or leave it whole?

Ill forsure let you know how it goes. If it goes real well i post pics :)
 
Not sure if the description below is allowed, but we will see what the mods think... ;)

Fill the bottle for about 1/3 with cutting redisue/weed.
Put a cloth over the opening of the bottle.
Empty the butane canister inside the bottle, through the cloth.
Screw the cap on the bottle and let it sit for about half an hour, shake if you like.
Punch a small hole in the bottom of the bottle.
Let the liquid pour out and let the butane evaporate.
The remaining residue is the shit you're after.

Some notes:
- n-butane is less toxic than isobutane, so better to use that one
- butane is highly flammable, so please don't do this kind of shit in your kitchen; outside is the best option IMO.
