Help! Going to get pure powdered DXM soon?

Firstly, if say, I trip off of 150mg of DXM in Robitussin pills normally, will 150mg of pure powdered DXM be more powerful or the same? Is there a different ratio there?

Second, how much should I plan to spend on 500mg? I mean, if it's a lot more, than I'm just gonna get Robitussin instead, and get 600mg for 10 bucks, ya know?

Please, and thank you. Also, if there's anything else I should know about pure powder (I've only done it via Robitussin) pleaaaase let me know!

If you trip of 150 of pills, you should trip off 150 of powder. It's the same stuff, only without the fillers and sugars and stuff.

We're not really supposed to discuss prices here, but I've seen DXM powder a couple places, and 10g is cheaper than two of the large bottles of Delsym.

I dunno if you'll need this, as I've heard of people having great experiences with pure powder alone, but this site has some stuff that should help absorption of the DXM into the GI tract.

i would think that 150mg of powder is going to feel a bit stronger than 150mg worth of OTC cough medicine, just because its going to absorb more readily (so long as you follow the advice from the above link). not much though. you probably won't notice much of a difference until you start approaching pretty big doses... i.e. a gram of powder is probably way stronger than a gram worth of product.
