Help! Gf just gone crazy n slashed herself up!

So we had had a nottle of wine each, I been at work all day an go to bed she's wanting sex but I have to turn her down as I'm falling asleep! Next thing she starts arguing, 'you don't live me' 'you don't find me attractive' etc so I go to sleep on the sofa she comes downstairs an I say let me sleep. Next thing she's run into the kitchen grabbe a knife and if slashing wr arm up! I start to restrain her and she's trying her hardest to stick this fucker through her throat!
Iv overpowered and restrained her, called ambulance and police. She's on her way to Lincoln hospital and I'm bout to go up on my bike.
What the fuck do I do now!? If I stay with her this will happen again, if I do t she will commit suicide! What the fuck do I do!?
 
Wow, I'm sorry this happened. Maybe she needs to see a therapist or someone about this. Is she very suicidal? Depressed? How long have you two been dating? This is very unhealthy behaviour (I think you know this already though).
 
Yeah man, sounds like she has some issues. I would stop seeing her. She needs help and it doesn't sound like she handle a relationship at the current time.
 
Has she ever acted like this before? This is bizarre but she got the attention she was craving (the wrong way-they will section her)
Hang in there and I'm sure they will refer her to a psych doctor upon release. She did this because you weren't up for sex? Or just drunk/high/crazy combo?
 
I'm at hospital now, just nailed my bike getting here! Bin inside talking to her, she's lost the fucking plot. Iv got her blood all over me. She went for a job on Wednesday and came 2nd and this didn't get it and she's been down since, real withdrawn.
So I try my best to be there for her, she had a shit upbringing and has self harmed in the past but a few years ago, before me and her had even met. Wen we av argued she's grabbed a knife before but I put it down to attention seeking/being dramatic! This time there was no hesitating! Just slash, slash fucking slash! I grabbed hold of the knife as she was trying to stab herself! I can't deal with this! But I can't just leave her or I'll have her blood on my hands when she does herself in for good! I don't av a fucking clue what to do!

Im responsible for bringing a company where Iv started up to scratch if I don't do it me and about 60 people lose their jobs! Iv got my life, her life and everyone else's on my fucking shoulders!
 
So she has a history manipulating people with causing herself harm when she can't deal with everyday shit.

This girl needs psychiatric help. You can't "fix her" and the only thing you can do is be supportive and encourage her to seek treatment.

I had a shit upbringing, have been unemployed for more than 3 months, got a kid in rehab, parents died, broken relationship, etc. This does not warrant acting like a fucking lunatic with a kitchen knife because my life feels shitty at the moment. Don't place this young lady's mental health issues upon yourself. She needs to grow up and take responsibility for herself. If she tops herself, it is in no way your fault. But I don't think she will because her dramatic actions are the only way she knows how to get attention. This must be so hard for you. Keep us updated
 
It's easy to say don't blame myself if she tops herself but it's easier said than done :/
My life has been incredibly shit too far beyond what most people will go through but like yourself, life goes on. I wish she understood that no matter what happens the world keeps turning! What do I do? Leave her? How? Support her and stay with her?
Anyway she's been stitched up now, 15 stitches and the problem was all the cuts are so deep and criss crossing that as they pull one up with a stitch the others open more. She will always have them scars on her arm and I'll always have them in my mind!
She accuses me of not caring but it's simply that life has to go on no matter what happens! She can love me or not but either way Iv gotta wake up to face another day tomorrow morning!
 
And one thing for everyone on here, thanks for the replies! It really does help having someone to vent to! I'm on my own in this world really :/
 
This is not your fault. Seems like she's been troubled for quite some time. Sorry this happened.
Just try and make sure she gets proper help for her disorder. You can pm me if you want to talk about it.

Dude, ive been thru some very similar shit with psycho manipulative women....im talking about hall of fame psycho...ill put my ex next to any crazy bitch in the world....and its not too diff from a con-artist, theif or career criminal....they are preying on your humanity, compassion, and empathy. She is using the good in you against you. You are not gonna change her.

She has probs she needs to deal with on her own by hitting rock bottom. But before making a possible change, she will cling and bring down everyone she can grasp before everyone in her life backs off and she is left to deal with whatever probs she has on her own. She needs to hit the point where the only person who can help her is herself. She needs that survival instinct to kick in. Because nobody can help her until she makes the decision to help herself. You need to do yourself a HUGE favor and RUN!! Otherwise dude she will bring you down in her misery.

Ive been there before, and all you are doing by giving support is enabling her to keepo acting the way she has been. People dont change untiul they are forced to do so. Until EVERYONE refuses to endure their behavior. You would also be doing her a favor by leaving and letting her focus her energy to fix herself rather than have you to take out her anger on.

Think about it.....

She got upset cuz you wouldnt give her what she wanted...

Therefore, she harmed herself and used your compassion and humanity to get your attention and feel sorry for her.

And guess what? Are you sleeping right now? Are you ignoring her? NOPE....she won and has your undivided atteention.

She will keep doing shit like this as long as you are with her....she may come to a point in the near future where she apologizes and promises to never do it again. But thats her way of rewarding you for gyou giving her attention.

But give it sometime....when you have your own life and responsisbilites to take care of....and she will doing something similar or even try and top it to get your attention again.

Put a friend in your shoes and imagine them telling you this story....what would you tell them to do? Really think about it..

Dont be a fool and fall for that shit lke I did....do yourself and her a favor and run....there's no better way to show someone how BS and unacceptable their =behavior is when people turn their back on them. Trust me, its the best thing you can do for her....and youreself

Dont put up with shit like that.....its abuse! Its the male equivalent to a battered wife. Have some respect and dignity for yourself....
 
You say that you have her life on your shoulders.
I don't believe it. Her life is on her own shoulders. Or did you sign a contract taking responsibility for her life?
You say that she will kill herself if you leave her.
In my opinion, this is the best reason to leave someone I have ever heard.
She is clearly only out to control you.
Her happiness depends on you?
If you stay with her, she won't be happy. As soon as you won't give her what she wants again, she will start slashing herself.
Or you?
If it were me, I would get out while the gettin's good.
 
We live together, really I would keep the house as Iv laid all the money down etc and tbh I need the house cuz its near work we moved to a new area together. She has nowhere to go and no one else in her life apart from me.
Last night we got in bout 4 and she wouldn't let me sleep, just argued with me I put all the prope knives in a bag under my side of the bed an all she can say is 'don't you think there are razors or I can smash a glass and use that' etc! I was falling asleep when I got in from work at 3pm yesterday! I initially said lets sleep bout 11 last night and then the crazy shit happened and it ended up about 6ish now Iv lost half my weekend -_- I got to go to derby and stuff but she don't care bout anything Iv got to do :( taking a step back I think you lot are right!
 
Come to think of it, she fucked off for a couple of days last week in her temper, and when she came back I think she was upset to see I can look after myself. She normally chooses to do the cooking and she cleans and stuff. Out of choice may I add, because I'm up at 6 for work and home bout half 5 it doesn't leave a lot of time and she's not workin.
I think she realised that my world will carry on with or without her and she don't want that!

Just told her I need to go to derby on my bike and all she says is don't leave me here on my own. That wud of been a nice ride out....
 
I've grabbed a knife out of a girls hands (well many times at work I mean in personal life) and seen her in the hospital after she got out of surgery from stabbing her self in the chest.

That was over a year ago. I fucking love this girl. She is a beautiful human being who was sick with untreated mental health issues.

I am sure fucking glad I was not cold and callous like y'all in this thread are being, and leave her for being sick.

If you love her, I'd stick by her bro.
 
shes pathetic and manipulative and she wont kill herself if you leave. she'll probably take a non fatal overdose/ cut herself in a non fatal way and then call the emergency services and make a huge drama out of it.

attention seeking manipulative personality disorder of some kind.

^ as for the above there is a difference between real suicide attempts and moody attention drama bullshit. there is a difference between mental helath problems and personality disorders
