I have ingested a medium dose of O-desmethyltramadol earlier, and it is still felt. By mistake I just ingested around 10mg 4-ho-met. Is it dangerous, or can I relax and "enjoy" the forced ride?

It is time +00:10 and I am feeling an increased opioid feeling. It is feeling great. Normally I feel like shit on the come-up of 4-ho-met. If it just continues like this, then it is a nice combo for stoners. What should I be aware of, physically? Is there any dangers with the combo?

That's a typical dose for Metocin, bit on the low side. What was the dose of O-desmethyltramadol?

You certainly can relax and enjoy your trip, I know of no dangerous interactions (if anyone here does please chime in now) but be sure to listen to your body just to be sure. Can you call a friend or maybe find a quiet place to relax and go with the experience? I know how unnerving it can be to take a psychedelic by mistake, but this one is fairly gentle and you should be fine.

You can PM me if you get anxious or just need someone to talk to. Enjoy your ride. ;)

Try and tell us the dose of the OdesT.

There are some reports that ODT lowers the seizure threshold, although some reports indicate that it doesn't (tramadol does, however).

You should be okay, but we don't really encourage threads asking if "something is okay to take" after you've already taken it.

If you feel you are in danger, contact medical assistance. As thou_art mentioned, its a good idea to have a trusted friend close by. The dose of 4-HO-MET is a pretty low one anyway.

I'm going to move this over to Psychedelic Drugs, but I can't promise it will stay open.

Thank you for the fast response.

O-des dosis must have been around, what, 25mg, then followed by 10 later on.

Now I am relaxed, though. The familiar 4-ho-met-feel has come now. Very mild. Mentally I feel sharp. Sharper than before, actually. Apart from minor visuals, I feel great.

There is a good bodyfeeling, no anxiety, and heartrate is a bit higher than usual, but in a nonthreatening way. Maybe my pulse is a little low, actually.

I live in an apartment, so if I start to feel like passing out or anything I will notify a neighbour. But I think it is fine, nothing will happen.

(tramadol does, however).

No it doesn't. If you read the medical advice given with tramadol, if you take an enormous overdose (around 800mg or more) the seizure threshold can be lowered in around 1% of the population - almost exclusively those who are already epileptic to begin with.

I have no problems with seizures anyways, and the o-des dosis was pretty manageable. Like 3 beers in strength, plus it is a while ago I dosed it. It seems like the 4-ho-met and everything is settled intensitywise now. If I had taken it on purpose I would have been fairly satisfied. Nice euphoric feeling in the body. A bit opiate-MDMAish (though NOT in the mental psychology of it!). Could be good for quiet evenings with some friends and a good movie. Unless shit goes down later. But it seems like this is it, basically.

It's always good for a laugh when someone freaks the fuck out and starts spamming their own thread with questions like "HOLY SHIT WHAT DO I DO?" and "HOW DO I MAKE THIS GO AWAY?".

How is it otherwise?

Yeah, I know it is funny/annoying. Well, it was an honest mistake.

I am becoming a little agitated, actually. Breathing is a little shallow, and heartrate is fast. Tremor of the hands. Lightheaded.

I'm going to close this thread. Paul Muad Dib, if you're experiencing a medical emergency, contact help. I would recommend calling a close friend so they can keep an eye on you (this will also do wonders to reduce anxiety). Maybe take a benzo to reduce anxiety as well.

You're welcome to write a trip report about your experience with this combination, but this thread has run its course.
