Help codeine now making me feel stimulated/edgey instead of relaxed advice needed asa

and i have used codeine for a while and only codeine no other opiate i can still get shitfaced etc but last few highs i just cant relax and unwind which i usually can even if i smoke bud which i do everyday also.

i try taking extra but that seems to just make me more hyper to think of a better word.. I really feel like im wasting my high here pls help
