HELP!!! Citalopram and LSD/Acid interactions

Hello friends,
SWIM has come in need of advice! SWIM has been on Citalopram (40mg) for about 2+ years now and it works wonders for SWIM. SWIM also loves hallucinogens, and recently has found many upon travels through time and space. SWIM read online that Citalopram has adverse effects with Psilocybin and didn't experience any whatsoever! Now SWIM has found some Acid/LSD (who knows now-a-days, but it's somewhere along those lines, so for the sake of this post let's not touch on that plz) and wants to take it, but is now discovering that Citalopram can cancel out a trip entirely!! WHAT?! SWIM was shocked!! "NO!" SWIM exclaimed! After 4 years of no experience with the majestic hallucinogen, the proverbial sand has slipping through SWIM's fingers! But as with the other notes SWIM read about Psilocybin it didn't pan out. So SWIM's question is:

1. Does Citalopram (an SSRI) affect Acid that much to significantly antagonize the trip?
2. Could SWIM stop taking his dose 2 days prior and have an alright trip? (SWIM knows of the effects of Citalopram withdrawl and can deal)
3. Any other advice?

SWIM assume, as ALL things, it comes down to the individual and so many other aspects and the comments online, well SWIM doesn't like spectating on 3rd party problems and would rather get answers for SWIM's self. Anyway, SWIM appreciates ANY response that can help SWIM, in 2 days is the only time SWIM can do this until way long away and really wants to.

no SWIM here, its to the point where its hard to even read this.

also, what does SWIM do, do you really think it offers legitimate legal protection?

SSRIs and pyschs are complicated, and sometimes risky. steer clear unless you do your research first.

SSRIs tend to lessen the effects a bit. Not always the case, but usually.

As for skipping a dose or two of citalopram, that can be iffy as well. Have you skipped doses before & if so how long did it take before you noticed withdrawal effects?

Lastly, please edit the SWIMs out of your post. That offers no legal protection & makes posts annoying & difficult to read.

I found a relatively low dose of Paxil completely negated any effects from LSD. I was still able to trip on psilocybin however.

We don't SWIM here.

LSD and psilocin/psilocybin are similar in terms of their mode of action in the human body. So if you find that 'shrooms work fine, chances are LSD will too. The only real way to find out anyway is pretend you were a scientist, and conduct an experiment.
