HELP! Cannabis Sativa all around me dont know what to smoke

Im in India and there is Cannabis Sativa all around me, some of the plants are about 4-5 feet high and some are just 1-2 feet high. Im pretty sure its sativa from comparing it to pictures online. However I do not know what part to smoke... leaf? small bud looking things? or spiky little leaves in the center of the fans, how to prepare it and whats a good amount being it's going to be freshly plucked off the plant. I know I have to dry it and i just plan to stuff it in a cigarette. Iam doing this out of boredom and curousity...I haven't smoked pot in about 2 years or so. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.
 
Use the palms of your hands and gently rub all the fresh buds you can. Only the flowers. Do that on a lot of plants, then scrape with a knife all the black residue sticked on your palms: it's primo hash. Enjoy.
 
Are the plants flowering? If so you want the flowering tops of the female plants, if they aren't flowering leave them be. The female plants have little white hairs called pistils and little resinous crystals called trichomes the hairs become brown later in the season. The male flowers have petals and a stamen.

Try not to get shot or arrested.

You may have more chance just asking someone to get you some charas. If some one owns those plants they will be none too pleased about you helping your self.

Thank you for your advice, no they do not belong to anyone, and as for the plants I don't see any white flowers, the only white things are a cluster of little rounds buds slightly hanging underneath the fan leaves, when u pop them theres white stuff in them.
 
Round flowers hanging below the leaves are a male flower. They will start ball shaped and then the petals will open to release the pollen. There might be some other plants with no balls. Those ones might start popping out white hairs in the next few weeks, after that it will take more than a month for a decent amount of resin to start accumulating. Bad news is that as you are in the Northern Hemisphere they are growing in the short season and may not finish well. I don't know how out of season plants go in India or what part of the country you are in.

Best thing is to ask a local. They might have collected the resin from last summer to make charas. Are there any Sadhus there?
 
If you are in that location for a few more months look for this kind of thing. This is a north indian sativa female grown indoors.

Im in Northern India, Punjab State. Yea there are some without the "balls", they have spiky leaves coming off buds like above however are not as fuzzy looking and not white. The big fan leaves are useless? Can I just pick some buds even if they dont look like the ones above? Thank you all for your replies again.
 
The bud will be moist, thus unsmokeable. Rub dem plants! You can go till the leaves if they are covered with enough resin.

Well I just took 3 small buds, they were moist, I wrapped them in some newspaper and put them on a bulb anyway they dried up and some were crunchy and some soft but dry. Mixed it with tobacco and smoked it in a cigarette. Didnt feel anything until I sat back down in front of the TV, heart beating a little faster and got a caving in sensation in my chest and dry mouth. Music sounds the same, no hallucinations (not that I want them) and thinking pretty straight. Did I not do enough, impotent weed or placebo effect? Weed in USA fucks me up...any suggestions for tomm.?

Smoke more, ditch the tobacco.
 
If there is no resin you are not really going to get the best effects. As bluesbreaker said you can try to rub your own charas or dry out the buds, but it sounds like they are too undeveloped to me. Don't some states in india have government authourised bhang shops? Or is that a thing of the past? Maybe not the punjabis I don't think its part of their culture?

If you have access to a kitchen you could try and make some edibles? Use enough and wait long enough and you should get effects if there is any thc at all in those wild plants. There's a recipe for bhang lassi you could try in the raw hash thread. Not to mention an enormous cooking with cannabis thread.
 
Thank you all for your replies, Im not really in NEED to get high, just want to do it out of the convienence of stepping outside and its all around me so I dont really want to go hunting for bhang and yea its really not part of punjabi culture, considered a low street person drug. Alcohol and opium is valued here lol

I dont really want to stink up my cousins kitchen so I dont think I wanna cook up something, but Iam going to try smoking more of it maybe instead of 3 buds 6 or 7 might do it.
 
During hours when the sunlight is at its strongest pretty strong smell from the plants but when I smoked it last night it didnt have that strong of pot smell and burned pretty slow

There used to be bhang shops in Varanasi (Benares), but I'm not sure they're still selling to tourists. I think it grows wild in high and secluded mountains, and then sold as charas and bhang to the valley areas. It's still illegal, but in some parts it's largely tolerated (use caution and discretion though).
 
I looked it up. Rajasthan is where I was thinking of.

To the OP wait as long as you can to let it ripen and then dry it slowly if you can do that safely.
 
By the time the female flowers are mature enough to start packing power, theyll also be riddled with seeds forming from all the pollen that must be flying around. It will take far longer for you to pick the seeds out of the stuff than it will to just pack it and smoke it and enjoy it. Even then Ive dealt with exploding joints and nasty tasting, headache-y bowls from smoking little seeds you swear you picked out.


Unfortunately it doesnt sound like the plants are even close to that far. How long has it been since Winter in India? As you wait for all those buds to start growing, Id start thinking of any possible way to cook your buds in any way besides your cousins house. Smoking heavily seeded buds can become a chore for many, you may be much better off gathering and drying the mature stuff for cooking into strong teas, butters, or edibles.
 
Thanks the Winter ended about 2 weeks ago, weather is starting to get warm...must be like 65 F outside. How would I prepare a tea and with what parts of the plant because that sounds pretty easy and most importantly do you get a nice buzz?
