I've always wondered about this etizolam, I mentioned it to him, like it's completely legal in the US to purchase these?????

I don't think that etizolam has been approved by the FDA for sale in America so technically I think it's still an illegal drug, however it's not a scheduled controlled substance so I don't think anyone really cares and it seems like a lot of American posters on this board use it/buy it online. I don't know for sure because I haven't really bothered to look, as it's not really my thing, but...

Etizolam has just as short of a half life (if not shorter) than alprazolam.
Yes it would get him out of wds.
No it would not be good to taper with. I've been trying to taper with it for months, it's impossible for me to lower my intake without wds of some sort.
Even a drop of 1mg out of my daily 8mg leaves me not feeling well.

Try flubromazepam, if you have any luck with it let me know.
I've been thinking about switching to that as it's longer acting, hence easier and safer to taper with.
