My name is Dan. I am a social worker, researcher, and PhD student (social work). My interests are in mental health and drug addiction/drug policy. I am particularly interested in drug effects and differences in how users report drug effects (especially in regards to psychiatric medications) compared with what is described in the research literature/regulatory reports.
I'm currently working on some research regarding the antidepressants (which if it is ok, I'll post in the research section of the forums). I'm currently digesting the various literature for and against drug legalization/criminalization/etc. Just finished Johann Hari's Chasing the Scream, which was enjoyable.
