Hi there all I'm new to the site and am fixing to stop my opiate use. I would like some guidance as to what to expect how to and just get some support. I'm new to this so all please be patient! Thanks so much. Long story short third time to try and quit first time three yrs ago about 90 mg oxy for 6 months then quit for three started back for 9 months 40 mg hydro and 30 oxy then quit for three months. This last go round of addiction I'm down to 45 mg a day oxy after going since December 2014. I just went to my dr and told him I want to stop. He said well just stop. I went to try and get Clonodine to help with withdrawing and he said don't replace one addiction for another. Uggh.also I, 61 yr old male.
