Hi there, everyone.
I'm new, as you've guessed, so I thought I should explain a bit about what brought me here. I'm a cancer survivor, left with severe residual pain after cancer treatment. I have been taking opiods to manage pain for 6 years. I do not abuse the meds...I'd rather not take them at all.
I've just been switched to oxy-neo, and I am having huge problems with it.
I had cancer in my mouth. I have a very dry mouth and a lot of trouble swallowing. I cannot get these things down, no how, no way. They stick in the back of my throat and choke me every time. I'm hoping someone may have some suggestions of what to try to either get them down ( zero interest in cooking, grating, freezing...not looking for a high, looking for pain relief) or what to talk to the Doc about in terms of relacement.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot here

Hi there yycad welcome to Bluelight! I'm not sure we can give you any advice on how to get the pill down. Perhaps your doctor can prescribe you a customized liquid solution of the medication that could work better? I would talk to him directly seeing as we're not really able to give out direct referrals on what to ask your doctor. I would suggest you ask him what alternatives are available and see if he can get you on a trial basis until you find something that works for you.

This is certainly a place with endless information on whatever topics you may be interested in. I'm so happy you found it and are using it to your advantage! <3
