Hi, my name is Daisy.

I consider myself an amateur psychonaut.

I'm a student, majoring in biology.

My main interest is in animals, especially animal intelligence and sentience, and I have a desire to research how psychedelics effect them mentally and physically. I feel there has not been enough research done on the latter part, and I would like to contribute to the first two :)

I tried Google searching animals and psychedelics, or animals using psychedelics, etc, but found only a bunch of links to a book called "Animals and Psychedelics" and a review on Erowid of the book.

I joined this forum hoping anybody might have more information on the matter :)

Well anyways, that's all I can think of to write XD bye

Welcome to Bluelight Daisy!

Animals using Psychedelics is indeed a very interesting topic. I'm not sure if there's any information on Bluelight about it, but search the Psychedelic Drugs forum and something might come up..If not, feel free to then create a thread.

Just be sure to read the Blua, Greenlighter's Guide (both can be found in my signature) and the guidelines of each forum :) Lastly, if you need a hand with anything else, please PM me or another Moderator %)

Wow XD That's pretty crazy. What was he doing that made you think he might be enjoying it compared to how he normally acts?

I've smoked my cat out with cannabis and cat nip. She REALLY liked the cat nip, but not the smoke. She didn't seem to mind the bud smoke though. Which is interesting to consider.

I found personally that the cat nip was a little harsh and had I been a less experienced smoker may have hacked a lung out lol So that may be why.

On a side note, I did a low dose of MXE the other day and while I was out side, had a hummingbird land not 2 feet from me on the branch of I tree I was using as support to climb down a steep hill. It flew right in front of me and almost seemed interested in what I was doing. He was pretty brave :D
