Hi everyone!
My user name is Bubba Moose which is actually my weinheimers nickname, I like him so much I have used it in various websites like this one. (call me whatever you want)
I was so happy to stumble into this site. I used to belong to one years ago(back when you could talk to a MD via phone or web & get your meds shipped your your door. You know the good old days..It was great. I made some really good friends, and it was nice to know I was not alone in the world of chronic pain.
Anyway I am a retired (disabled) recently I have a rare blood disorder that has given me numerous ailments since I was 19 yrs old. I am 50 now.
I live in a large city in Texas, married, and see pain mgmt MD every month. I hope I will be able to offer some useful/helpful and witty input. I have never been into the whole flaming someone in a site as this, never quite understood the mentality in that. If I don't agree with something or have a huge problem with it, I figure I can always turn of the PC, easy enough..lol
I have a great story about a scary episode that happened while waking up from my surgery a few days ago, but I don't want to wear out my welcome...So more about that later.
