Hello there!

Hey Elaine!
Are you FROM LA or did you move there when you "grew up"?

I was out there for 9months in 2009. I hated LA so much I ended up moving back to Chicago within 9 months. The best part was the road trip because I love staying in hotel rooms and getting Points! LOL

I was an actor, and funny enough, every audition I went on for my "type" I got the part.... but then they wanted me to take off my clothes. I say NO NO NO! (like that song "rehab") I also lived in "the valley" - woodland hills and it felt SO FAR. I ended up spending alot of my time in Calabasas which was really fun and nice and cute and had a couple of nice bars. I was in a comedy troupe in Sherman Oaks, but I really should have saved my money (initially moved in with a friend and ended up staying in WH) and went to Santa Monica or somesuch and I'd probably still be there acting up a storm!

Plus I was totally addicted to xanax at the time and had a part on the santa monica pier and was afraid i was gonna fall in, total vertigo set in from lack of xanax (tried not to get "high" when working) - and I freaked out so bad they fired me.

AND, finally I couldn't find anything. Didn't have a GPS and had a shitty car that hated the hills so man, I gotta say I gave it the old college try and am glad to be home. SO.....
