Hello & Question

I've been lurking here the past couple of days, and I wanted to respond to someone via PM. I registered an account and attempted to PM him but it said I needed to become a Bluelight user or some such. I was wondering what credentials I had to meet, as I just wanted to ask a question about an area I'm going to be traveling to soon.

I think u have to have had 50 posts in order to reach Bluelighter status, which then allows u to PM. I think u r supposed to read the support and stickies when u get a chance, which will tell u know about this community.

Yeah you apparently get BL status at 50 Posts, I'm not sure if it's automatic, I'll let u know when I get there!

By the way i got a PM today from someone and I tried to respond and couldn't as I am only a greenlighter! Strange that u can't even respond to a pm don't u think?

Them the rules! I hate rules but I can confirm that i just went to BL when I hit 50 and just successfully sent a PM. Good luck getting there.

Yes, it's 50 posts and the limit could be 5 posts and you wouldn't be able to spam anything, this site is well moderated. Do they have an email link in their profile? Otherwise you'll have to make 50 quality posts to send private messages.

On further thought, why isn't it something you can post publicly? If it's something dodgy that's exactly why the standard is there. Are they an active member? Would they see a thread you started? You can send private messages to moderators, so why don't you sent me a private message? I might be able to help you out, you might be able to make a donation to Bluelight...
