Hey everyone out there!,
I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I have been in NYC for 3 years now from California and loving everything about it. I just went to the Swedish House Mafia Show at MSG which was amazing! Wish everyone out there could of experienced it! I hope to learn a lot on the site and meet cool people to check out shows with.

Welcome to Bluelight :) Glad to have you here. If you look down in my signature, you'll notice there's a link to an Inflexxion Survey. If you wouldn't mind taking a few minutes to take this survey :) The info we get benefits Bluelight, which then benefits you. It would be a great way for you to contribute. I can't wait to read what you have to say on our forums while you're here :)

Happy posting! -

Welcome!

And as a fellow New Yorker, I welcome you! What part do you live in? Isn't Manhattan beautiful? Unless you live outside the 5 boroughs, then I wouldn't even consider that New York, lol.

Hey, welcome to bluelight!!! I live in pa but go to nyc all the time, should be going friday to this holiday madness rave :]. I love the city <3

What's up J? Yeah I live in Manhattan and cant imagine living anywhere. Are you a native?

Yep. I currently reside in Pennsylvania for the next month, but I grew up, live and will be attending college on Staten Island. Nothing better than NYC in the winter time!

Right now I'm on library lockdown studying for a big exam, but after I plan on obviously going crazy! Been such a mild winter here that it is impossible to enjoy!

the mildness of this winter is so annoying because its too cold to say "its a nice day" but too warm for it to snow....ooh sure it snows on halloween, but then we suntan on NYE. still beats shovelin.

cali is great, the only thing i found out of sorts was the possibility of natural disasters...i went during the santa ana winds time and fire was literally tearin through residential areas and fillin the sky with smoke like bombs, then found out mile earthquakes arent that uncommon.

im not comparin the two big giants like which is better, but it made me think between la and nyc, id say la wins if u like to take advantage of the outdoors and prefer warmer dryer climate (every ecosystem available within 2 hours: ocean/beach, desert, forest, mountains n valleys, etc...) and nyc wins if u dont mind any type of indoor fun imaginable. im sure la is just as rich with diversity, but havent spent enuff time there long enuff to really know, i do know nyc just has so much especialy within such a small area n subway ride that even the pickiest afficionados can easily find a few places of interest to fit into. as far as the outdoors, nyc is kinda limited (central pk,prospect, van cortland, pelham bay, and then coney island or stay outta the water orchard beach), gota go upstate or long island to enjoy nature really.

anyway hello
