Ok so I know I'm totally fucked here!! I am on oxycodone and morphine ER. I picked up my prescription last Thursday but they accidentally gave me the instant release morphine. I called today to see if there was any way they would fill the extended release. I knew it was a long shot ( because the instant release is gone) of course they told me I would need to bring in the remaining medication before they could fill the right prescription. Anyone have any ideas on how I could make this work??

Last thursday so 5 days ago? How many was the script for ? Was it low enough amount you could have reasonably took it all in that amount of time because it was ir and dint last as long and help with your pain? If not I'm not sure what kind of options you have. It would probably be hard / expensive not to mention a little dangerous to replace the meds on your own. You might have to just ride it out till your next appointment. Doesn't look good that they ask you to come in and you can't tho. Could try saying you where taking to many cause they wasn't lasting as long for your pain so you flushed em to keep from taking to much but doubtful that would work just trying help you. But honestly honesty is best policy but sucks when it don't get what you want/need. I'm going threw that myself need go dr but don't know if be honest or leave out some stuff n try get what I think would help.

Anyway sorry about the ramble good luck let us know what you decide to do and how it goes
