Something i just wrote:
The noise in my head doesn't stop
When the volume outside drops
I just need some time alone...without a soul
I need to clear my head, because its too damn full
I waste my thoughts on surface things
things that please the eyes
I'm missing the beauty that lies beneath
I dont hear the muffled cries
In order to appreciate my life
I'll need to know myself
I'd like to meet this guy I am
And give him mental health
I'll tell him to relax,
to slow things down a bit
and if it takes my whole life to be friends with him
I know I'll never quit.
