Hey everyone I am a big fan of information and the power of it! There is nothing I dislike more than the "Boogie Man"! When people in the position of power result to scare tactics and lies to try to combat something they are afraid of or know nothing about is something I do not understand. I think those of us with minds that are open and aware that what is one persons opinion or preference is just that and should be respected and not forced on anyone. Drugs are a part of life and to make someone who is addicted to something stop doing it because they don't agree with what they are doing is not helpful, it is harmful. We are addicted to things because they are what works for us as a solution to something greater. We don't want to be addicts because we want to go through hell of addiction and isolation we do it because it is s much easiier to just worry about getting that fix not what our parents did to us or our anxiety that we do not have the mental tools to deal with another way. I am not a fan of a 12 step program or abstaining from what e are addicted to. Quitting should never be forced apron someone. Give someone the right information and they will make the right choice the self and if they make a mistake, oh well, we learn from it and move on. That is life. Life is what each of us make it. We choose how to act and react to the situations best way we know how right or wrong. We are our own worst enemy. I try to focus on DAMAGE CONTROL. I do my best to keep my damage to a minimum and my life and the life of those around me is a much better place!
