So, I am a young man in my very early 20's, a long time reader, but just signed up tonight under the name FearDust. No particular reason for my choice in username. As already stated I am from southeastern Michigan (Metro Detroit area), so living? so close to a major city it's always been easy to acquire pretty much any drug you can possibly think of. However my first and most important DOC has and probably always will be opiates, followed by benzodiazepines. I don't have to dabble with acquiring these substances illegally because I am a Pain Management patient, and and am prescribed OxyContin, Ms Contin, Roxicodone, Diluadid, Norco... and my Pain Management doctor is more than willing to prescribe me whatever I want in the highest doses possible, and has never given me any shit asking for re-fills early, but he did in fact eliminate that problem by simply modifying ALL my medications to their highest possible doses as well as increasing the monthly quantity of the pills for every single medication to EASILY last two months... one example would be a prescription for nearly 200 pills of 8mg Diluadid per month.... on top of the instant-release Oxycodone. As for my benzodiazepines, I see a psychiatrist who prescribes me 2mg of Xanax 4-5 times per day a long with 10mg Ambien once at bedtime. I ALSO have my Medical Marijuana card so I can legally purchase top-qualiy marijuana. Although, I don't smoke as much as I used to. I acquire every drug I want/need100% legally through pharmacies, plus I have AMAZING health insurance so my co-pay is next to nothing.
However, there is a major negative to all this... Hypothetically speaking, of course, if I were to be kicked out of Pain Management, or for whatever reason not have my pills and was forced to score dope on the streets, it would cost me a MIMIMUM of $150 a day just to.keep menoit.of withdrawals, and MINIMUM of $500-550 per day to stay "high". That is how ridiculiously out of control my opiate tolerance has become. So I pray that hypothetical day I mentioned NEVER comes!
Also, I'm not going to formally introduce myself using my actual name, but, call me Groggy.
I am greatly looking forward to jumping in and asking some questions about my Roxicodone (15mg instant release oxycodone).
If I broke any rule or did anything wrong, LET ME KNOW, so that I can immedietely correct the problem. I really like this site and want to remain a lifelong member, mainly for the purpose of harm-reduction.
