Hey! I'm from Africa too! Well, I grew up there at least and call it home. Love the place! I just sometimes wonder why Africans havent discovered more happy shrubs and shrooms than ibogaine, cannabis, wild dagga, etc... I mean, the continent is covered in Acacia trees, why the hell doesn't some tribe trip some DMT? Then again, sort of requires that they by coincidence come across a MAOI somewhere, and figure out that they need to brew that with the acacia bark. But I am guaranteeing you there are some psilocybin mushrooms out there on the savannah just waiting to be found. There has to be, otherwise Terrence McKenna's theory about the monkeys in the trees going onto the ground, eating shrooms, expanding consciousness, becoming pastoral, etc -> modern man doesn't really hold. I just hope it does though, because I really like that theory about the evolution of human consciousness.
Anyways, thats enough of a rant on my part. Its late, and Ive been working on my bachelors report all day so I'm sort of out of it... The places I spend a lot of time in Africa are beginning to feel the holds of coke and ecstacy, which is sort of a shame, because it will create a sort of fucked up angle to the drug scene. But the quality of the weed is going up before it used to just be schwag shit, nobody care about seeds and stems, but nowadays bud is getting good and skunky! Is it the same in Zambia?

I took an awesome P. semilanceata trip on the train from Nairobi to Mombasa a year ago(shrooms were collected in Sweden in October). That was a fun ride... cha chung cha chung cha chung... the train came alive, snaking its way through the landscape, from the highlands, through the red hot plains of Tsavo, and into the coastal district. Awesome trip trip Shit, now I'm all nostalgic and depressed and miss Africa too much. Good night, see u around!
