Hi everyone. I don't know if it's the norm to post one of these introductions but I figured at least it would give me a chance to try out posting for the first time. I am a long time reader of this forum, so I should have a pretty good understanding of the basic rules. I am a twenty-two year old female from Virginia. Although my drug of choice is definitely some type of IV opiate (oxycodone, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, morphine, heroin) I have tried most things out there besides psychedelics. I first went on suboxone when I was 16, and stayed clean for awhile after that. I moved out when I was 17, and my new found freedom landed me back in the midst of all the substances I loved. I have been on suboxone again for about a year now, but I have some chronic pain issues (and let's be honest, mind-of-an-addict issues) that have led me back to using for about two weeks a month between appointments. I live in a pretty rural area where the drugs are prevalent but the harm reduction isn't. For example, I do not know of any needle exchanges in my state or most of the neighboring ones, the nearest methadone clinic is over an hour away and I already drive 45minutes to my sub doctor. Hope to start getting to know some of you soon.
