A functional drug addict? I am of a taper to jump off of OXY and my reasons are to get off are multifactorial. I am appreciative of all of the information as I move off.
I have been telling myself that based on my situation, I am a functioning addict. I have a good job, family, and my life is good. I am fortunate but came out of a cycle of addiction to and a fucked up family to get where I am today. Tell me that there are more people like me or that I am a jerk off rationalizing my use because I function well with an addiction.

Don't be afraid to be honest and frank....also, any ideas on best taper methods are welcome...

Hey hey! On mt taper and down from 180 OXY by mouth to less than 80 now!!!! Feel weak at times and looking for any other Folks with success On a taper down....trying to get to 60 by next Saturday !
Doing B6 and keeping active. Fuck OXY...I am gonna beat this shit. some people say the pain never goes away and I'll need a small amount to keep alive...input appreciated!!!
 
Hi Prada, welcome :) You should create a thread inThe Dark Side explaining your current situation. That section has the most concentration of members that will be able to give you advice and relate to your situation for support :).
