Hello everyone I was surfing online and found this site and read several interesting threads and decided to join up. I got injured last year on the job and was put on oxies..after 3 months my doc switched me to celebrex....crap. Nothing like opiates. Anyone from ny?

Welcome to Bluelight. Sucks they took you off your pain meds but at least you are clean from opiates now which is more than I can say. See you around.

True but I was never addicted nor did I take more than the required dose. It just did wonders for pain but what iI miss the most was how happy it made me feel. They should prescribe it as an anti-anxiety medication as t the low dose of 5mg

Welcome, Nycorvus!! I agree with u regarding oxy as an effective anti-anxiety medicine. I live outside NYC in the burbs.
